Methamphetamine has become a highly addictive drug of choice in many rural communities. Meth “labs” are often the pusher’s kitchen, garage, shed, or even the back of their car. Because of the chemicals used in the “cooking” process, the place it is produced becomes very volatile and dangerous. Many pushers, their innocent family members, investigating law enforcement officials, or other emergency service personnel, have been seriously injured from coming in contact with the chemicals used to produce methamphetamine. |
